Hello! Welcome to a new school year! The 23-24 school year is my 39th year of teaching, and my 22nd year in Trout Lake! Time sure does pass quickly. I am excited to be back in the classroom and am looking forward to working with your student! l

I did both my undergraduate and my graduate work in education at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. I earned my Master's in Education in 1993, and am certified to teach both social studies and English in Oregon and Washington. Being a teacher allows me to continue to learn right along with my students - I figured out how to get paid to go to school for the rest of my life! 

I live in Hood River with my teenager, Seth, a senior in high school this year. In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening, and being active in Boy Scouts. Seth earned Eagle Scout rank this summer and I am extremely proud of this accomplishment!
