Team 3711 Iron Mustang Robotics Team Qualifies for Nationals
Congratulations to Trout Lake School "Iron Mustangs", team 3711. After 3 major robotics competitions, including the Pacific Northwest Championship, team 3711 qualified for the National FRC Robotics Competition in Houston, Texas on April 18 - 21, 2018. The team qualified by being one of the top teams in the Pacific Northwest region. This region includes Oregon, Washington, and even Alaska. The last time team 3711 qualified was in 2012. The team reached the finals in two of the three competitions this season, including a 2nd place finish at the Central Washington District Competition at the Sun Dome in Yakima. Thanks to all mentors for their work this season, including robotics director Rod Nelson. Obviously, sending a team to Houston is expensive so donations are gladly being accepted. Checks of any amount can be made out to Trout Lake School and dropped off or sent directly to Trout Lake School District PO Box 488 Trout Lake, Washington 98650. In addition, there is a Go Fund Me link to which you can also donate.
